General Organa. May the Force be With You Carrie Fisher

Most of us, if not all of us, grew up with the movies Star Wars in some shape or fashion. She made a voice for mental illness and drug problems. She made a voice for strong women acting roles. Carrie Fisher was a fantastic woman.

I would like to take this moment to do a bit of advertising for a t-shirt company I like. They did a great honor to her. Most others are looking at her career, Tee Turtle took note of her voice on psychological problems and drug issues.

“At TeeTurtle, we work every day to provide our fans with unique shirts that represent them. But we never forget that we’re fans too, and just like you we mourn the loss of our cinematic heroes. Today, we wanted to honor a talented, courageous, remarkable woman.

We know that our actions matter, and everything we do makes an impact. As our way of giving back to a brave woman who took a stand for so much, we will donate 20% of every sale of this shirt this week to The Brain and Behavior Research Foundation. We have the privilege of reaching so many people around the world, and we hope this design will remind people of what can be accomplished with courage, honesty, and perseverance. We are honored to be a part of this community with you and humbled by the opportunity to contribute to this cause.” says the company upon the announcement for the shirt design.

So, may the force be forever with Carrie Fisher and that Tee Turtle is able to make a great sum to this cause that few have focused on.
